I got 4 teeth pulled out, two on top and two on buttom. So i have the wire with no teeth and just a big gap. The wire bended upwards on my top teeth, but i pushed down and the wire just kind of fell down straight how it was before. should i go see my orthodontist or just wait 2 weeks for my next appointment?

Hi. I’ve had braces for 2 months, but have never gotten them tightened because the orthodontist didn’t want me to get them tightened that soon. Well I noticed that one of my wires in the back is broken or bent. I have no insurance and I’m scared this may cost a lot to repair.

the wire is sticking out very far and poking into my gums in the back of my mouth, is there anyway to cut it myself??

My orthodontist said that he will be installing a finishing wire at my next appointment. What is that? I’m getting my braces off in May, so I’m almost done, but I don’t know what to expect with a finishing wire. Please help!
