Hi im getting braces soon i went to the dentist today and they said i need braces so im going to the orthodontist soon i was wondering how long will it be between when i first go there and get everything done and when i actually get the braces put on.

I’m getting them out soon and this is my biggest concern, will the places where the brackets were be more yellow than the other places on my teeth?

is it ok if i just take it out in front of people to eat. Is it bad manner, does it give them gross feeling seeing me pulling the tray out?

I have very sensitive teeth so I want to know…Also, how do they attach the braces to the teeth? Do they glue them on or something or do anythign to the tooth?

I have braces. And i hate them! And i just found out about Invisalign ):
and i’m just wondering if i can get my braces taken off or something, and then get the invisalign teen? AND get my money back, to pay for invisalign. ive had braces on for about 4 months.
I hope. Does anyone know?

I am thinking about becoming an orthodontist and I dont know where i should complete undergrad: a local community college or the University where i want to gradute from with a degree in orthodontics.

Okay, so a couple days ago i got braces, and im still having a hard time eating… My mother is starting to get upset with me because she thinks im loosing alot of weight. I can’t help it though, it hurts too much. Do YOU have any good suggestions of foods that would be okay to eat and feel fine? Thanks!

so, i just got my braces on, and i was wondering if when you go for regular appointments, they have to take all of the wires and braces off to tighten them. if they dont have to take all of it off, what exactly happens???

I got my braces tightned today and my ortho said im ready for rubber bands but in the end i couldnt get them because i bracket came loose so they have to do it next time, why am i getting them? is it because i have had teeth taken out?

I’m going to the ortho because my last retainer that I never wore (back when I was in high school) no longer fits and I want a new one that fits my “new” smile, even though secretly I just want my old smile back! Anyway, I know my ortho is going to yell at me for not wearing my old retainer YEARS ago. What do I say so that he can put that aside and make me the new one?
