I can’t seem to find any information or website regarding the history of orthodontic treatment in Spore. I even tried calling NDC, but they are also unsure of the history.
There are some questions that I would like to find out
-When Singapore first started practicing braces? Who is the one brought in ?
-Who is the first Doctor who started practicing Orthodontics in Spore?
-Iz really achievable to obtain the prefect “Hollywood’s smile” through braces? to what extend?
-How high are the figures and percentage of success rates now compared to the olden days in Spore?
-How Spore’s Orthodontics treatment differs from other countries?

I want to know whether retainers cost is included in the ortho treatment. My ortho said he will charge $450 for retainers after the treatment.
and also I want to know if we go to an ortho do they take x rays for free there itself or do we have to go out and pay money which is not included in the treatment.
My ortho said it costs Approximately $200 to get all the xrays done since he doesn’t have that facility. And only one time you have to get x rays. He said in some cases 2 times. Is that true?

My orthodontic treatment started 3 years back. Mine was a case of relapse. He promised to close all my gaps and complete my treatment in 1 year. Now it’s 3 years. And there is still a slight gap left which he says will close with the retention plate Can I sue him under consumer protection act of India . If so how do I prove his malpractice in these circumstances? Please help me.

I am moving in a few months, but wanted to start my invisalign treatment now. Is it easy for doctors to pick up a new patient who is already doing an invisalign program?
Anyone been in a similar situation?
Thanks a ton

I’m thinking about getting invisalign, but I plan on transferring to san diego to start school in a few months. If I start invisalign here in would I still be able to get checkups at a local dentist office in san diego? If so, would it cost more or would the amount I pay here carry on to that dentist office? Thanks.

I would like to know the cost of Damon Braces and Speed Braces for a 1 year treatment (in CAD $ if possible)
Does anyone actually wear them? Are they better then conventional braces? Do you need expanders or head gears?

I’m supposed to begin Invisalign the first week of January. I was quoted a price of $4,800 for fourteen months of treatment and am just wondering if this sounds right. Between college, getting my wisdom teeth removed, Christmas and New Years, I really don’t have time to visit different dentists to compare prices. As well, even if I do go for a “free consultation” from another dentist, chances are he or she will want to do x-rays and possibly take a mold of my mouth to see if I qualify for the procedure, which will not be free. Furthermore, I don’t want to go to another dentist and tell him or her my current dentist has approved me for the treatment, as I want an unbiased quote… not one that simply “beats” the one I’ve been given. Thank you in advance.

The Orthodontists has said that my daughter needs Phase I treatment at nine years old to correct a tounge thrust problem. It will cost $4,000. This treatment will last 14 months, they will take the braces off and then when she is 13 or so she will get another full set to correct her crowding issues (Have no idea what the cost of that will be).
Did your child have Phase I? If so did it work?
