I have been wearing retainers for a year now.. but i should not be wearing them at all. The only reason im wearing them a year after i had my braces off is coz i didnt wear them properly at first..anywhoo one of my teeth has moved back behind my front tooth where it was like at the start…
I have been to the orthodontics and they have said to me carry on wearing the retainer untill june (thats when my next apponitment is)but my tooth still is not straight… i might have to have braces again or a bonded braces thingy?but only on the top front teeth??
Has anyone got bonded retainers and do u notice it and does itget annoying? and same questions for lingual braces?Im sceared that i will talk funny?

Would you recommend them over the traditional metal braces? Please, only people who know from own experience, I don’t need internet links, I’ve read everything that is to be read about them.

I just got my braces removed today and the assistant who removed them was pretty rough and I noticed a crack line going down the center of my front tooth. I’m not sure if it will eventually split or break in the future but I think that it should be their responsibility if it does.
Any suggestions?

i have a problem , my tooth crack(slightly crack but pain) when i was chewing foods. i knew that i need to go for a check up . But i need to know what is the solution to treat the cracked tooth.

i will need to remove an impacted tooth that was brought down by orthodontics. it is my front tooth (#9). will i need a bone graph, my dentist say i i have alot of bone loss since the root was surgically cut short after the root erupted.

My gap is about a quarter inch . I am getting braces this month.

I just got braces but its only because I had a baby tooth, and I got it pulled. The adult tooth is somewhat stuck in my gums because there is not a lot of room for it to grow in. Now I got my braces, but how long will I have to keep them on for in this certain situation? Also, If I take calcium pills will that help the tooth grow quicker?

I have completely straight teeth and all adult teeth but the tooth is stuck up against another. I don’t think i need braces for one crowded tooth.
