my ortho told me they need to do surgery in 8 wks to move my top jaw back. will i be asleep? if im not asleep what can i do for 45 minutes? will i be given laughing gas? what can i do during laughing gas?

I am getting my spacers put in today, and I really do not like pain in my mouth (who does, right?) but I am wondering if I should take some tylenol or advil before I go into the office.
I have to have the spacers in for a week before they put my braces on.

I am going o the orthodontist today and they said I am getting my penguin adjusted. My penguin is a pallet expander. So if anyone has had one please let me know what they will do, and if it will hurt.

ok so im fianally getting braces, they are self-ligating braces, new typ which doesnt need bandcolors, but i want them neways, but i dont know what colors to get, what is the most popular color bands? oh and if u get braces at dr.spillers, do they hurt? what can i do to make the pain go away? thankz again!
