Now does the orthodontist put the braces on or the assistant is supposed to, because where I work the assistants is supposed to be doing everything also ligature wires like pulling the teeth. Also measuring the brackets. Please tell me all the duties what the assistant is suppose to be doing? Thank you for your opinions.

Hi I’m 15 years old boy and I’m wondering can i still get braces even though i haven’t grown my two top molars left and right on my top jaw?

I live in Australia btw.
My teeth are not that crooked, although I have about 2 or 3 that are a bit out of place. I also went to an orthodontist a while back, and he said that I have small mouth/jaw so some of my teeth are clustered together and will need to get 2 removed.
How much do you think the braces will cost?

I have crowded teeth on my lower jaw due to lack of space would invisalign fix this or should I just get traditional braces? I have had a consultation with a registered invisalign dentist who said they can achieve the results I am after but have not seen a orthodonist regarding tradtional braces I just want to know if invisalign works and whats best?

I’ve had braces for almost a year now. (February will make a year) And my mother, is the one that notices all the little things about my teeth. She’s the one that saw that I needed braces. . Can I tell the orthodontist that I think that I can remove them earlier than expected
*It was planned that I keep them for two years (and a half, I think)

I model and my agency suggested that I get Invisalign. I was looking up some things for it and it seems like its kinda of a hassle to take it out and brush your teeth and stuff like that. But then again with braces it seems that they are more painfull and take longer. What do you suggest?

She wants me to get invisalign because it requires her to drive less and my orthodontist is like 30 minutes away. I don’t know what to do! HELP!

My first appointment was an Invisalign consultation.. My orthodontist gave me a print out of how much the Invisalign would cost the print out said that the cost was 3,500 and my insurance covered 1,500 dollars plus a 500 coupon on all traditional braces and invisalign. My final cost was 1,500 Dollars. My second appointment I had a tooth extracted. Because I was told I was required to before getting invisalign. When I got home from my 2nd appointment , I decided to just go with Traditional Braces. So my next appointment will be on April 20th. And will be requesting Traditional Braces instead. Would the Traditional Braces cost less than the Invisalign?
