I’m going to the ortho because my last retainer that I never wore (back when I was in high school) no longer fits and I want a new one that fits my “new” smile, even though secretly I just want my old smile back! Anyway, I know my ortho is going to yell at me for not wearing my old retainer YEARS ago. What do I say so that he can put that aside and make me the new one?

Would I need a mouth guard for snowboarding?
I have an expander in right now and I’m getting bottom braces in about a month. He never really talked to us about mouth guards, would I need one for snowboarding?

Has anyone had the miracle cure to braces known as invisalign? Because I’ve had an rpd (rapid palate expander) for the last 5 months of my life, and I sound like a mix between mike tyson and a kid with down syndrome. Im sad.
