Hi, I’ve just had my braces installed 3 days ago, yes it hurts, no I can’t eat, but it’s slowly getting better. The hard part is I have a really crooked tooth at the front that sticks out quite significantly as is, add the brackets and wire on top of it and trying to get my lips around it, is just a nightmare!!
Anyone know how long it takes for teeth to start getting into place? Is it a matter of months or years??

After getting your braces on, people told me it starts hurting 30 minutes later. Other people told me it hurts a day later. When?

I’m not a candidate for Invisalign because my teeth aren’t quite straight enough. I currently have regular braces, and was wondering if it’s possible to switch to Invisalign some months down the road when my teeth get a bit straighter? Thanks!

Im getting my braces off wednesday and then im leaving for school on saturday.
If i buy some white strips, can i start using them the day i get my braces off? I want my teeth to look good in time for school.

My teeth are too crooked and crowded to start with invisalign, but I’m 18 years old and I don’t want metal braces for three years. Could I get traditional braces now and in about a year or so move to invisalign?
