I’m going to get my first trays of invisalign tomorrow, I have had spacers in since last tuesday. They don’t hurt anymore at all, and i can’t even feel them. Will my orthodontist take them out then, or wait until they fall out? If it’s wait till they fall out, how will they do that wil plastic trays on top of them?

Well in a week im getting braces and…they didnt give me spacers?
What does this mean?

Im getting braces in a month or a couple of days and i wanted to know what are other procedures that u can endure when getting your braces besides spacers?

I have spacers on right now and when I chew or eat it hurts, is this normal and what should I do? Right now I eat rice but I have ntoiced I lost some weight which is a bad thing because I am on the football team and I am losing energy and feel tired. Plz help.

So I already had my consultation, and my next appointment is for molds and x-rays. My question is, will they put spacers in during the molds and x-rays appointment? Or do they schedule a 3rd appointment, put spacers in, and schedule another for braces?

My Orthodontist never said anything about putting spacers in for me. Why is this? I thought everyone needed spacers before getting braces? PS-I am getting teeth pulled for braces, does that change anything?

I’ve heard that getting spacers is painful, and my brother described it as if they were ‘skinning his gums’ O.O Does it really hurt that much? Before and after what can I take to help with the soreness, etc for both getting spacers and braces?

two of the metal spacers are touching my gums and they move, everytime they do, it hurts, are they well placed? and….do they really create space between my teeth? they are just wires and they dont look like they can create space like the blue rubber ones do. Thank you.

I just got spacers and the pain of the little rubber between my teeth is really, really, sore. Any way to make it better?
