and how do you know when it will be ready?…..after getting braces are they supposed to file your teeth?

I Have completed Phase 1 of orthodontics and with an expander, braces, and a retainer. I have four gaps in my upper jaw still, one of them being between my two front teeth. I have to option of getting a full set of braces on both jaws for about a year or I could get a retainer plus veneers on my canines. My teeth are in good shape; this procedure would be just for cosmetics, not for functions.

What do you think will happen if I put the arm and hammer whitening booster gel in my invisalign retainer over night?

I’m such a space shot. I got my braces off November 2007, and wore a retainer every night. I lost my retainer this summer and had to buy a $250 new one. Now I lost the new one!
I can’t afford to buy another and my mom won’t pay either. I’m just curious if anyone had issues only wearing a retainer for a year or if it turned out okay…

I haven’t wore my retainer in a while, and my teeth have obviously shifted due to it. Is it possible to get a retainer made to fit them now, or will I have to go back to braces?

My daughter is 10 and has braces on her upper teeth.
She doesn’t like wearing her retainer at night. How important is wearing the retainer? I feel embarressed to tell the orthodontist that my daughter doesn’t wear the retainer all the consistently

How much would it cost to make one retainer from scratch?
My orthodontics procedure was done overseas and I am in the US now.
I lost the upper retainer and would like to know how it would cost to make one from scratch here in the USA?

There’s this little key, though it doesn’t have any teeth, it’s just like a tiny straight rod. He said you have to stick it in through the two bars and turn it or something confusing like that. He drew a diagram, too, but it doesn’t make any sense.

Forgot to ask my doctor this. Had the procedure yesterday and my teeth move back into place pretty fast so I NEED my retainer! I don’t want to damage my blood clot though. Any ideas?
