I had a severe overbite, so my orthodontist decided to put plastic on two of my upper molars to prevent me from biting off my lower brackets (we are not using rubber bands for treatment). When do I get used to my new bite? Or am I doomed to a liquid diet until the plastic is removed?

I don’t know how big of an overbite it is but its big. Is there a way to know if braces will look bad? Does color make a difference, cause i was planning on getting black.

I have a slight overbite and my front teeth are a bit spacey. I want to get braces but I don’t want to wear them for too long. In general, how long does it take for braces (the old fashioned metal and rubber band kind) to fix an overbite?

Some people have reported that it doesn’t work as well as micro implants. I have deep overbite and I want to find out what would be better to get to treat it. Micro implants look painful and I’m also quite self conscious about how I look I don’t want to look ugly. There have been others who’ve claimed that invisalign worked fine for them when treating deep overbite. So what do I believe?

I have a “slight” overbite.. I am calling this “slight” because my top teeth don’t cover my bottom teeth completely there’s still a bit visible and also, neither my top nor bottom teeth touch my gums…
I got braces about three days ago (self ligating on top).
How long does it generally taking to correct an overbite?

On September 1st I believe, My Orthodontics said my overbite was 100% and I needed braces. But how will they make my overbite go away?
