You don’t get a diploma in orthodontics, its a subspecialty. You can obtain a certificate of additional credentialling but thats not a diploma/degree.

Does every ortho make you wear a PERMANENT glued in retainer for the rest of your life on your bottom row of teeth if you had braces there? Because the ortho in my town has that as his “specialty”. And also, why do you think he does?

Basically, i haev two teeth that only grew in halfway due to overcrowding… however my teeth are not crooked at all.
they are 6 and 11 according to this chart:http://www.saveyourteeth.com/images/toot…
I do have an overbite, but i am not interested in getting that fixed, i just want to make it so that those teeth grow in… what are my options?

Ok so today I went to get my records for braces.I am 11 years old and will be 12 in July.ANyway Dr.Ji looked in my mouth to see how it was gonna abe done.He said that there was 1 tooth still at th bottom trying to come up but,it can’t until all my teeth don’t have gaps anymore. Then in the way back of my mouth on the bottom Dr.Ji said the top is coming up fine but he;s concerned about the bottom of it on where’s its gonna grow.SO he said after a whole when i get my braces. He’s gonna see whether they’re growing correctly.AND HE SAID IF THEY DON’T I HAVE TO GET THEM OUT!!!I THEY ARE PERMANENT!!And another this is spacer’s are spacers? Why do I need spacers? Will they hurt when i get them put on?Will they hurt when they take out? Will they hurt when eat?Cause i gotta get spaces on May 14th.At 9 in the morning im in 5th grade and i will be late for school
