He said if I want my teeth to stay straight that I should wear my retainers every night for the rest of my life. They hurt like KRAZY I’ve had them since last year and they STILL hurt. What should I do?

Im only going to wear em at night for 3-4 days during a trip. I want to avoid the chance of losing them and the hassle of taking them out to eat and brushing after. Will it affect my treatment if i only wear them at night for a couple of days?

I’m such a space shot. I got my braces off November 2007, and wore a retainer every night. I lost my retainer this summer and had to buy a $250 new one. Now I lost the new one!
I can’t afford to buy another and my mom won’t pay either. I’m just curious if anyone had issues only wearing a retainer for a year or if it turned out okay…

….unfortunately, im gonna have to get braces for a few months before i get veneers. but prom is coming up
my question is, how much does it cost to get braces removed for one night then put back on?
