Usually I just have 10 minute appointments for tightening. But I was told when scheduling my next appointment that is gonna be 35 minutes long. They didn’t tell me why, but on the appointment slip it says “bond retainer” where it usually says “tightening”.
What does this mean?? Why would I get a retainer when I haven’t even gotten my braces off yet??

I went to the ortho a few weeks ago, and got my braces. he said on that day that in 6months if i hadn’t lost my last baby tooth that he would “help it along” There is a tooth under it that is coming in so why would he say this?

I got my braces tightned today and my ortho said im ready for rubber bands but in the end i couldnt get them because i bracket came loose so they have to do it next time, why am i getting them? is it because i have had teeth taken out?

Like when they say private practice orthodontist? Is that like them having their own building for their orthodontist work, like they do it themselves, otherwise they can work along with in a dentists office?

I saw that my orthodontist reccomended comprehensive orthodontics to me two years ago when I was 16. I think it has something to do with adolescent orthodontics but I’m not sure, can anyone explain it before I go in for another consultation?
