My brace came off hours after my orthodonist tigthened and readjusted some braces that had fallen off. As I ate a soft bagel, one of the previousley detatched ones loosened again. I am just wondering if I have to sit through a whole process over again just to reglue the one brace.

I have had a consult and am a good candidate, but I’m concerned about my teeth feeling loose during or after treatment…I definitely do not want this.

What if you have a loose tooth with braces?
I have had braces for almost a year now. And my right side has been hurting when I chew. It stops hurting sometimes. But when i push on my 2nd to last molar it kind of hurts and it moves a tiny bit. It’s the tooth that my last bracket is attached to on the bottom. Is it really bad of it’s loose? Will it be okay if I just don’t play with it? Ughh help? PS: I don’t think I lost all my teeth before getting braces. And I know teeth get loose from braces, but this has never been loose before and it doesn’t feel like my teeth normally feel when they are shifting.

I wont be seeing my dentist for months because I had to come to England, and I have to go to the US soon. My dentist is in the Philippines. I have self-ligating braces on, and my dentist says it should be okay even if I am not able to visit her regularly. But one of the brackets got loose, it is not broken though.
Do you think a new dentist will agree to fix it for me? Because I am aware some dentists do not touch patients who are under treatment with another dentist.

I got a pair of self ligating braces a few months ago- soon i’m due to get the wire replaced anyaway. These things have been a disaster- a few weeks ago the adhesive spacers on my teeth fell off, and just today my bracket third from my back tooth came loose! It’s no longer connected to my tooth but it is to the wire, and im worried while I sleep or something it may come off and I could inhale it/ aspirate and die. Im calling the ortho tomorrow, but I need to know- is there a possibility that it will come off the wire? What should I do until the doc can see me? Thanks for your help in advance.
