I am having an orthodontist assesment soon, because my dentist says I need braces, but what will they do? No-one has told me yet. Thanx. xx

What do they do? My other dentist noticed I had an under-bite and said braces could fix it, but my teeth are naturally straight, the only problem is my under-bite. I’ve never been to an orthodontist before so what do they do? Do take clean your teeth, take pictures, etc?

I have braces right now, and above the gumline, there is a tooth growing, so I have a coil spring in braces to create space for the tooth to grow in. Next appointment, they are going to remove the coil spring and put a new bracket on the tooth.
How are they going to remove the coil spring?
And what colours should I choose for the next appointment?

I currently have on white and I will never make te same mistake again of putting white on.

On my next appointment card theres an appointment lasting 45 minutes with the description saying Reposition Brackets.

I am getting my spacers put in today, and I really do not like pain in my mouth (who does, right?) but I am wondering if I should take some tylenol or advil before I go into the office.
I have to have the spacers in for a week before they put my braces on.

the wire is sticking out very far and poking into my gums in the back of my mouth, is there anyway to cut it myself??

I’m getting spacers soon and I want to know what to expect. How much does it hurt, how to stop it from hurting, etc. And what are they for?
What do they do after i get the spacers?? I’m going back to the orthodontist 3 days after i get the spacers. I don’t think i’m getting the braces on because I need an expander.
Is the expander only for the roof of your mouth or can you get expanders on the bottom of your mouth??
