Orthodontists in Los Angeles California

What do they do? My other dentist noticed I had an under-bite and said braces could fix it, but my teeth are naturally straight, the only problem is my under-bite. I’ve never been to an orthodontist before so what do they do? Do take clean your teeth, take pictures, etc?

I’m going to get my first trays of invisalign tomorrow, I have had spacers in since last tuesday. They don’t hurt anymore at all, and i can’t even feel them. Will my orthodontist take them out then, or wait until they fall out? If it’s wait till they fall out, how will they do that wil plastic trays on top of them?

I am going for my first ortho. appontment on november 19 and i know i need braces so im just wonder how long after that appontment i will get the braces put on!

I never thought that an orthodontist would have to start out as a dentist, but I could be wrong…?
Also, what major would I choose to lead into orthodontics?

So, What should I expect?
Do I have to bring anything important?
What do they do?
I just need some info because I go for the first time next Tuesday

Okay, so a couple days ago i got braces, and im still having a hard time eating… My mother is starting to get upset with me because she thinks im loosing alot of weight. I can’t help it though, it hurts too much. Do YOU have any good suggestions of foods that would be okay to eat and feel fine? Thanks!

I have to get braces and i hate the look of them. My parents said they would buy me invisalign if the really worked and if u did have to get regular braces first. Please help cause i need to straighten my teeth for Modeling & Acting school! *^_^*

i went to my dentist today because i dont like my teeth at all and he made an appointment for me to go see an orthodontist. i dont know what to expect? the girl on the phone from the orthodontist place told me that the appointment would be an hour and a half. what is going to happen at the orthodontist? i am scared! please help thanks

I got braces for the first time yesterday,and they are killing me! I tried to eat cereal for brekfast (didnt work) and a sandwich for lunch (ditto), and it seems the only things i can eat without pain(and chewing) is yoghurt. Will it always be like this, and what can i eat that doesnt need much chewing?
