i will need to remove an impacted tooth that was brought down by orthodontics. it is my front tooth (#9). will i need a bone graph, my dentist say i i have alot of bone loss since the root was surgically cut short after the root erupted.

I’d like to get my teeth straightened, but since I’m 51, I think the tin grin path is long past. I’d like to try the invisalign, but would hate to invest $3 grand into them just to find out that I can’t tolerate the pain. Any suggestions?

I go in tomorrow to have impressions made for Invisalign braces and my brother told me some chick at his work has them and they hurt like hell all day everyday! Is this true or is it manageable?

Like the orthodontist puts your braces on, tells you you need them for a specific amount of time (example. 2 years, 1 1/2, etc.) and then tooken them off earlier?

I had braces for 2.5 years, got them off in march of this year–I’ll be 19 in two months. 3 of my bottom teeth wiggle ever so slightly, its hard to see though. When my top teeth touch my bottom teeth they do not feel sturdy as they once did. So I was wondering..Is this normal!?

I had braces and retainer for 8 years from age 14 to 22. I wore headgear and later rubber bands. I think they made my upper jaw too small. It is at my far range of motion to close my teeth together and my jaw pops when I open it far. The only time I close my teeth completely together is when I am chewing. We can’t afford TMJ treatment, since the insurance doesn’t cover it.

I was just wondering, my orthodontist was being real rough today and I would not have been suprised if one of my teeth would have just gave and split.
