After your braces are removed, they’ll do a mold just like they did before you got your braces. From the new perfect mold, they’ll make your retainer so your teeth will stay in place.

I am waiting to get my braces off, and all I am waiting for is a little gab between two teeth to fill, I would say its about 1/8 of an inch. I’ve had a chain on for four weeks, but I really have seen no movement. Is this normal?

Does every ortho make you wear a PERMANENT glued in retainer for the rest of your life on your bottom row of teeth if you had braces there? Because the ortho in my town has that as his “specialty”. And also, why do you think he does?

six years of dental school…four regular dental school and two of specialty school..this of course doesn’t count your undergrad of 4 years so a total in college of 10 years. Physician exactly the same amount of time, four years medical school two years residency.

what do those have to do with eachother?
I suggest not the high school since you spell it wrong. You usually will go to college. And graduate school.
Orthdontist. -dental school instead.

Usually I just have 10 minute appointments for tightening. But I was told when scheduling my next appointment that is gonna be 35 minutes long. They didn’t tell me why, but on the appointment slip it says “bond retainer” where it usually says “tightening”.
What does this mean?? Why would I get a retainer when I haven’t even gotten my braces off yet??
