I have always enjoyed this type of field. Despite the good money you make, It really seems like something I would like to do in college/career. Only problem, not THAT smart (ie not 1500 SAT smart). basically any advice on how to go about becoming a dentist/ortho for the average-above average student like me? What are some good colleges (Colorado?) ? any overall advice?

is there anyway to file your teeth without going to your orthodontist/dentist?

At the moment, my family is far too poor to purchase braces, even though I really need them. Does anybody know if you can go to the dentist or orthodontist and specifically ask for a retainer?

Today I was at the orthodontist and like evey other time the she used used this weird tool. It had a black handle and the orange thing that hung around the outside on the top of it. It created a blue light. I have no idea what the heck it is or what it does. Please help.
