I could move to Australia in the next year but i want to get braces for my teeth now. If i get braces here, would i just go to a dentist in australia for a check up?

I wont be seeing my dentist for months because I had to come to England, and I have to go to the US soon. My dentist is in the Philippines. I have self-ligating braces on, and my dentist says it should be okay even if I am not able to visit her regularly. But one of the brackets got loose, it is not broken though.
Do you think a new dentist will agree to fix it for me? Because I am aware some dentists do not touch patients who are under treatment with another dentist.
