I have dental insurance in cobra but it does not cover adult braces. I am looking for a dental ins. that individuals can buy. I also heard there is ortho ins. as well. I have decided to try to buy the ins on my own because most group plans do not cover adult braces. I am not looking for those discount programs. This is a really hard topic to find on the internet! Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any way I can get some sort of reimbursement for getting braces since they are sooooooo expensive. The dependant-only rule is pure BS if you ask me, everyone should get assistane, not just kids.

* Have you ever used Invisalign? I don’t believe that my case is nearly as bad as those advertised on their website, will Invisalign work for crowding?

Which one is better and cheaper? My mom’s insurance hasn’t kicked in yet and I so we’re hoping to come up with a payment plan until it does, so we need to know which ones cheaper. BTW me and my sister are getting braces so it does matter.

I recently had a consult at an orthodontist’s office and they quoted me 5-6 g’s. I can’t afford this is anyone aware of any insurance companies that cover orthodontic work? I do not have employer coverage for any benefits.

I had spoken to one of their offices where they took my information so that they could send me a credit so that I can get my work finished somewhere else. I called today and was told by the same office that they closed or sold the office. I never received any credit and have unfinished orthodontic work. Is there anything I can do. Please Help. I cannot afford to pay for treatment.
