I called customer service of the orthodontics and they didnt know. they said to ask on the next visit but that would be payment. Please Answer.

My top row of teeth are fine and so is my bite but my bottom row is crooked. We haven’t consulted with an orthodontist yet, but I’m wondering would they let me just get the bottom row braced even if it would slightly mess up my bite since I’ll have to get 2 teeth pulled. We can only afford one row, and I don’t really care if my bite gets messed up a tiny bit.

Well i am planning to become a dentist, but I’ve always wanted to be a dentist and a orthodontist (Like doing crowns etc. and doing braces for people as well).
But I recently heard that I could not be both and unfortunately my college advising counselors are no help and I really wanna know the answer to my question.
So is it possible for me to open up a business as a practicing orthodontist and a dentist by myself?

I started Invisalign a few days ago, due to minor correction of the lower teeth. The lower teeth have three attachments but the upper teeth do not have any. The upper teeth are perfectly straight. Does the upper aligner serve any real purpose? I’m not sure how the upper teeth can be affected since there is no anchor point for movement. My dentist doesn’t have clear answer to it.

I only need to straighten my bottom teeth, and my dentist recommended Invisalign. I was given a rough quote of $5000, but I don’t think this was customized to my case. Does anyone know if Invisalign costs less if you only fix the top or bottom teeth, or is it $5000 always? Also, my insurance says it covers 50% of orthodontics but doesn’t mention Invisalign. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
