I have always enjoyed this type of field. Despite the good money you make, It really seems like something I would like to do in college/career. Only problem, not THAT smart (ie not 1500 SAT smart). basically any advice on how to go about becoming a dentist/ortho for the average-above average student like me? What are some good colleges (Colorado?) ? any overall advice?

What if I don’t know if I’m pregnant or not when I get the x-rays? How would that effect my baby? Also, I need an expander first for about 4 months. Would they need to take x-rays between when I get that removed and when I get my actual braces on?

I think it would be interesting being an Orthodontist. You get to straighten out people’s teeth and solve problems. And you also make a truck load of cash!
So what is the road to doing this? Be specific if you could. I have heard some horror stories about medical students being worked like dogs for pennies. Is it anything like this?
