Is there a specific age to use the Twinforce Appliance? I have seen 2 Orthodontics and they recommend the Twinforce Appliance for young people not for full grown adult. Is that right?

i have and im really pissed about how it changed my face…my orthodontist did not warn me. i was wondering if theres anyway to get a bit of my overbite back?? i dont want to go all the way back but maybe just a little so that it feels a little more normal and ill feel like myself when looking in the mirror. thanks.

i think its called the herbst applliance its suppose to make the lower jaw move forward..

I’ve heard of permanent retainers, and I think it’s my only option, because I can’t keep wearing braces and/or Invisalign over and over! I got braces at age 40, and they say that’s why they won’t stay put. In fact, they started to move even when I was wearing my retainers religiously. Any help would be appreciated.
