when i wa 15 i got my braces off. i wore my retainer until my doctor told me i didnt need to anymore about a year later.
its been five years now, and i have small spaces in the top of the front of my smile. they really arent bad at all,
my retainer still fits, just with a gap between my teeth and the plastic, but i can get it on. im wondering if i wear it how it would take me to get back to normal.?
i know that its different for everyone and without seeing no one can be sure, but there are relatively small spaces and im simply asking for an educated guess.
im also asking if anyone advises me not to do this seeing as its been about 4 years since i had it in last? theres a decent amount of space between my top and botom teeth. my bottom retainer still fits perfectly with no gaps.

I really want pretty teeth when they come off because I used to be the kid with huge buck teeth so is there anything I can do (besides electric toothbrush and whitening toothpaste) to whiten them. The crest whitestrips say not to use them with braces so I need something else.

And My orthodontics told me that im wearing it for 1year and half and after that, im going on a jaw surgery ! and he said i`ll have the braces for another year? .What Im wondering though is ? If i would ever go for jaw surgery ? Do i have to wear something like supporter like through around my head & jaw? for the whole year that im going to have with the braces on? .. =\ im really scared .. of the surgery. you have to take the prereqs which are
General Chemistry 1
General Chemistry 2
Organic Chemistry 1
Organic Chemistry 2
General Biology 1
General Biology 2
Microbiology
Anatomy and Phys. 1
Anatomy and Phys. 2
Calculus 1
Physics 1
Physics 2 (preferbally calculus based physics)
Biochemistry makes you look good
After you are done with your bachelor’s degree and have taken all the required courses you have to worry about getting accepted into dental school …. which is actually becoming harder to get into than med school.
When in dental school it takes 4 years, then you have to apply to an orthodontist school which is about 2 more years of college. Which is probably the most selective specialty. Basically you have to graduate on the top of your dental school class to be considered.
