I Was Just wondering if Every Orthodontics Has the same Colors of Bands for Braces? I Went the Other Day To talk about a Plan For Braces and you Know how They Always Have Like a Fake Jaw With all the Different Colors of Bands? I Was Just Wondering if That would be All the Colors they have or if There’s Some Different ones in the Back? The Colors I Saw there Where Nice But I Had Other Ideas.
I Was Thinking Something like Hot Pink and Turquoise or Something with Blue
Thanks!!

  1. It depends on whether your orthodontist uses traditional or self-ligating braces. When I had my braces, my orthodontist used self-ligating braces. Self-ligating braces have no elastic ligatures (bands/ties) on them and are simply the stainless steel colour; however, they typically cut appointment time and treatment time drastically. That being said, if your orthodontist uses traditional braces, you will have a choice of which elastic ligature (bands) colour you would like. Most likely if your orthodontist had a cast of your jaw and different colours, those would be all of the colours you would be able to choose.

  2. Ask your orthodontist the next time you are there. We don’t know what’s in the back. At least some of the colours you mentiones exist.
