Whats The Length Of Time Between When You Go To The Orthodontist And When They Put The Braces On?

Hi im getting braces soon i went to the dentist today and they said i need braces so im going to the orthodontist soon i was wondering how long will it be between when i first go there and get everything done and when i actually get the braces put on.
It depends on the work you need doing. I have braces at the moment, when I first went to the orthodontist, it was a consultation to say what was going to happen – for the next few appointments, I got separators, an expander and some metal rings around my back teeth. From my first appointment it was about 2 months until I got my fixed braces. It will be different for everyone though, you could ask your orthodontist. It was a slow process for me but I’ve noticed significant improvements. Merry Christmas! and good luck!
I went to the dentist a week ago and they suggested braces. I made an appointment for today, and these people had a lot of time on their hands because my braces were put in today, but my sister and my parents say it took them a couple visits until they actually got their braces put in.
