I am trying to decide whether to sign up for Aetna’s PPO or their DMO plan. More specifically, I want to know which plan is better for orthodontics (braces). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. well, a dmo is the dental equivalent of an hmo. so there’s a big downside, you don’t really get to choose your dentist. but it’s cheaper than a ppo. i have a ppo because i have been seeing the same dentist since i was 5 and i refuse to go to a new one! with either plan, i think you are covered only $1500.
