I just got my braces tightened and they hurt so bad that its geting to the point where its hard to eat!!! Any household remedies or medicine to stop this?

Wow, you just brought back a flood of bad orthodontic memories. I would say orajel or something like that might work. Maybe whisky but you’re probably not old enough for that. I’m sorry, braces suck, but just think it’s all worth it in the end!
If you are old enough, take some Ibuprofen (Motrin) as this will help with the pain and any swelling that is occurring.

my daughter sometimes sucks on an icecube, she says it feels good, or just chews on some gum ( iknow you not sepose to but she does anyways) you might want to get some of that stuff moms use for new born baby’s who are theething, ask your mom, it numbs the pain/gums.

First I wish all luck in your treatment.
Now the best drug you can take for such case is ( Iboprofen 800 mg one a day) or ( Iboprofen 400 mg three times a day every 8 hours ) or if you are in USA you can take Excedreen 2 tablets to decrease the pain ( which is Paracetamol and cafaine and Aspirin )
Take good care of your mouth health and cleaning during this treatment
Oh I feel your pain. I had braces when i was a pre-teen it was horrible! I recall placing warm cloth on the part of face that hurts.
