It seems the braces would obstruct him being able to work on one’s teeth. Also, is it preferable to get braces after having all dental work done or does it matter?

  1. It would depend on the location of the cavity. If the braces or wires are in the way, then they would have to remove them temporarily to get at the cavity.
The best thing to do is to brush and use the platypus flosser at least 2 times per day. This will minimize the chances of any cavities developing while wearing braces.

  2. I don’t think braces would get in the way of removing a cavity since dentists enter through the top of a tooth not the sides. Removing a tooth is a whole different story though.

  3. take the braces off?
    lol
