i used to wear braces when i was younger but when i had them removed (after four years of wearing them!) it “relapsed” as she called it and now i have one tooth sticking out sideways and my teeth look worse now than before i had braces. im looking for a really good ortho i hear they’re quite pricey though. Can anyone give me an estimate on how much they would cost and give me some names of good dentists? thanks!

Lingual braces are the ones that are behind your teeth so no one can tell you have braces.

To begin, I overstated the title to get your attention (sorry), but basically my problem goes like this.
A month ago, during my braces appointment, they put a spring between two of my teeth. Now a month later, the spring seems to be pushing the teeth too far, and they are overlapping each other (with a lot of added pain of course). Now it hurts whenever I bite on my left side of my mouth.
Is this something serious enough that I need to call them for an early appointment, or does this usually happen when they put springs between your teeth?

I have a gap between my two front teeth and i was wondering how long it would take to close the gap with braces and would I still need to wear them after the gap is closed? For how long?
**The gap is about the width of a penny, its a little smaller than that. All of my other teeth are fine, they’re straight. The only problem is the gap. Im also 15 and I really don’t want to have them that long.

I might need to get one of my back teeth pulled (the 3rd one from the back) and Im just really curious as to weather or not I will still be able to get invisalign if i get it pulled.
( root canal is also an option but im not sure which one i want to do)

I am a softmore in highschool, and i am seriously thinking about collleges. i want to be a dentist, and i would like to be on a college riding time so any schools good for both?

The plastic inside edge towards the back of the lower aligners is bothering my tongue really badly. This is my second day, and it’s painful to talk or eat, not because of my teeth, but because of my tongue. Is there something I can do, or will it go away?

I sprained my ankle, so my trainer & doc said I need to get braces to help prevent ankle sprains, well it seems when i put them on & start playing, my ankles burn, and the inside of my foot on the bone hurts. Last game my trainer at school put a padding on the bone & taped it then i put the brace on, it helped but I still felt like a robot on the court & it still hurt. Any advice?
