i got a permanent retainer for my bottom teeth…so its basically just a wire cemented to my teeth to keep them straight. does that mean im gunna have it forever..or will they remove it when i dont need it anymore?

My gap is about a quarter inch . I am getting braces this month.

i had braces, but after they were off they shifted slightly because of my puffy gums. they are not that bad at all, but it would give me more confidence if they were perfect.
i also read another question of invisalign and a lady said it costs different in every state, so i live in texas if that helps at all.

If so, do soldiers have options as to what type of braces they want? For instance, if a soldier wanted clear braces, can he get those?

I have had a consult and am a good candidate, but I’m concerned about my teeth feeling loose during or after treatment…I definitely do not want this.

Is it possible to fix an open bite without surgery? I.e with orthodontics? My dentist told me that it’s not possible without surgery, is that true?
I ask because I seem to remember something about correcting it.
