So I am getting my braces on in a week. I would like to know what colors look the best on your teeth. I would also like to know the worst colors.
I really like orange. Like neonish halloween orange. Would that look good? If there are any tips on braces please let me know. Oh, btw, I am 13. Thank you for your time.
Hey! I am 13 and I just got braces. My ortho lets me have color combos and so far I have gotten: Black and orange, 4 shades of purple, pink, and Neon green and Neon orange. I think that you would like one of the orange combos! Good luck! PS, they hurt-a lot.
Congrats! Pastels look best with braces, orange is pretty but it won’t be flattering on teeth, trust me. So go with a light blue, or pink. Or you can get white, but they stain.
Other tips on braces:
Take amazing care of them! Lack of care towards your teeth will result in longer treatment time.
Avoid a lot of soda and brush often, or else you’re teeth will be stained when you get the braces off.
The first three days will hurt like no other, and it takes awhile for you and your friends to get used to your smile with braces. Don’t worry, you’ll be comfortable once you’re teeth start straightening out.
Get wax, because your gums will be irritated the first few months.
Best colors:
White or clear, light blue, blue, pink/light pink, jade green.
Worst colors:
Dark purples, dark blues, teals and reds.

The worst colors are black, clear, white, yellow, brown and some shades of green.
The best colors are blue, pink, and purple. Orange isn’t the best and it isn’t the worst either. You could go with orange. But neon seems like it would hurt people’s eyes when they look at you. I wouldn’t go with a neon.
hey I have braces I LOVE Orange and black lol halloween but my friend has yellow that looks cool with light blue. Bright colors look the best. I would stay away from green a lot. Purple can go either way. Right now i have just 1 color bab blue but you can ask for more than one. Hope i helped! (btw if you go with the darker colors sometimes people think you have food in ur teeth if they don’t look close enough so stay bright!)
My favorite was navy blue.
do NOT get white or clear….they will stain. I had white one time and when I ate a sandwich with mustard it stained them.
