The percentage that includes me! I switched to traditional braces several aligners away from my last ones. I could have gotten more Invisalign aligners but that would have been too much of a hassle and not as safe as traditional ones. Had I known that Invisalign wouldn’t do such a perfect job, I may have started with traditional braces.
My orthodontist told me a small portion of people actually end up getting traditional braces… hmm…

  1. I would say around 80%, just an estimate. Those are the people that want “PERFECT” teeth. Invisalign can never get them that perfect! A lot of people get invisalign first, then braces on for just a couple months for the perfection wanted.


  2. It’s very hard to know. Depending on the age group who got invisalign brace. Considering the product is new etc. The figures of course should be low. However if the product was a failure it would never have been supplied to orthodontist
