What Is The Truth About Invisalign Express?

My ortho told me that the difference between full treatment invisalign and express are:
1)Express are fewer than 10 set of trays vs. more with full treatment
2)Retainers are covered by full treatment but you need to pay extra if you are under express treatment
3)At the end of your last tray on express and your teeth are still not perfect, your dentist will need to take new impressions of your teeth and order extra trays which are extra cost to you
I know number 1 is true but how about numbers 2 and 3? My ortho told me about these and I just wnat to make sure it is true so I can make informed decisions.
I also think that it is unfair that invisalign express will charge extra (for extra trays) if your teeth are not perfect by the end of your last tray. It would have been their fault if your teeth are not perfect by the end of your last tray
Invisalign express is meant to treat limited cases. If, at the end of treatment, additional aligners are needed, the dentist can order 3 additional trays for $99. They can charge you for these.
Results vary depending on patient compliance, movement of teeth….lots of things. Nothing is completely predictable, but Invisalign is better than most systems at predicting results.
My office includes a retainer with both express and full cases.
To me it will be your falt because you decided to go with invislign instead of having the traditional braces on. I mean it’s your decision but I think having the traditional braces on with the wires and everything is good because they might do a better job than invisalign. I don’t want you to have to get a 2nd pair of braces bcause the inisalign didn’t work out for you. You ca always get a second oppinion or go to the website of invisalign here at the bottom of the page I have for you.It depends on how much of your teeth has to improve and how much you want to spend on invisalign. Either way it’s not a bad idea but just give it alot of thought. Remember you want to come out with a perfect smile even if you get the traditional braces. The longer the better sometimes but the shorter the better. Either way put alot of thought before you make this decision.
