the clear retainors and invisalign are both made by the same company, and they are the same material. however, invisalign isnt covered by insurance and it takes several different retainors to fix your teeth, and when they are perfect, you stay with the last one you wore and where it on and off for the rest of your life.
the clear retainor is just what you get after braces. i recomened braces first.

Invisalign costs way more than retainers.
Invisalign are custom fit clear trays that straighten yoiur teeth the way traditional metal braces would. A retainer is a mouth piece you wear after yoiu get yoiur braces off, to keep yiour teeth in the postion the braces aligned them in.
Invisalign is clear, a regular retainer has a metal band over your teeth (sometimes it doesn’t, depends what type of plate you have)
Invisalign is clear, a regular retainer has wires that show when you smile.
Invisalign is more of a clear plastic tray…that is the mold of all your teeth……a regular retainer has the mold of the roof of your mouth in plastic and a single wire surrounding your teeth…..Invisilign can also be substituted for braces….not just a retainer
invisalign isint coverd by your insurence
invisalign can not be seen…well its not really visible compare to retainer…..also no wire require for invisalign..but i think its pretty much the same…if your a person who cares about looks then invisalign would be your choice..but if u dont care retainer is just the same and cheaper too
Well Ia normal retainer has a metal bar, but I have a clear retainer (so they call it )which is just invisaline.but since i’ve had braces i assume that why they call it a retainer
