  1. There’s a difference cuz orthodontics is to straighten teeth. Sometimes crocked teeth can cause problems like pain in your jaw. Cosmetic dentistry is used when the natural teeth have no problems but you just want them to look a certain way. And some ins do cover ortho but it depends on the type of plan you get.

  2. orthodontics uses devices (braces) to straighten your teeth.Cosmetic dentistry uses different products to make your teeth look prettier. For example, white bonded fillings, veneers, crowns and bridges.I don’t know of any insurance that pays for cosmetic dentistry, if there is no damage or injury to the tooth.

  3. both have a similarity
both are aiming for BETTER SMILE OF THEIR PATIENT
    they have the following differences
orthodontists moves the tooth to bring them to arch and to correct malocclusion.
by doing this he changes BOTH FUNCTION AND ESTHETICS of teeth.
(when the teeth moves from its position, becomes straight from crooked, becomes erupted from unerupted ——it s function changes and appearance also)
but whereas a cosmetic dentist most of the times aims only in improving the ESTHETICS.
several options such as veneers, bleaching of teeth ,crown and bridges are available for this.

  4. first, you should collect some resource by searching the relevant keyword in search engine,if you got good luck there ,then your problem solved.however,if you are not able to find the ideal answer by doing that, here
