I got braces for the first time yesterday,and they are killing me! I tried to eat cereal for brekfast (didnt work) and a sandwich for lunch (ditto), and it seems the only things i can eat without pain(and chewing) is yoghurt. Will it always be like this, and what can i eat that doesnt need much chewing?

Soup – Tomato, Noodle, Vegetable
Smoothies – Milkshake – Bananna – Apple – Orange
Milkshakes (thick and fill u up!) – Strawberry – Bananna – Chocolate .. yum!
Really soft pasta because when its warm its easy too chew
when i got my braces i ate a crapload of instant mashed potatoes- just buy the box, mix it with water & butter and microwave, unless you have a sweet mom that will make you homemade! and i ate a whole lot of chocolate pudding. it should get better in a week
really soft flapjack is great because if you just stick it on your tongue, it melts into just oats, which is really easy to get down.
I lived off flapjack
Try maple and brown surgar oatmeal
