  1. The US Dept of Labor publishes a list every year. Every year, without fail, the majority of the top 25 paying occupations in the US are various specialties of physician.
    The highest paying specialties are:
    1) Anesthesiologist
    3) Family and General Practice
    4) Internist/Internal Medicine
    5) OB/Gyn
    6) Oral-maxilofacial surgeon
    7) Orthodontist
    8) Physician and Surgeon – other
    9) Prosthodontist
    10) Psychiatrist
    11) Surgeon
    13) Pediatrician
    14) Dentist
    16) Podiatrist
    [18) Lawyer]
    [19) Judge]
    25 Pharmacist
CEO and Airline Pilot are in that list pretty high too.
Seems to me that a degree in medicine is rather profitable. If money is what you’re looking for.

  2. you’d better have a better reason than making a lot of money or you’re not going to be very good at any of them. plus they all take a LOT of years of college, good grades, etc. grow up first, please so you have so direction besides money, OK?

  3. It’s up to you to figure out what you enjoy. Take some classes in college to help you decide. What you listed are good jobs that pay a lot, but you have to have love and dedication for what you do to get the maximum out of them. Explore your options on your own.
