Is The Cost Of Invisalign Tax Deductible?

I know you can pay for it through those health savings accounts, but I don’t think I set aside enough money to do that. Can I just pay for it out of post-tax dollars and then deduct it on my tax return?
If you itemize your deductions and pay it out in one year, it is itemized with medical deductions and is tax deductible. If you can’t pay it out in one year, you may want to consider using a credit plan like CareCredit. You would make payments to them over the time span you arrange with them and you get to claim the deduction all at once.
