   I doubt you’ll be able to get the insurance to pay more. They cover what they cover and that is all they will cover. As for the braces, first they will glue the bracketts on the front of your teeth. Then they will string a wire accross the brackets and tighten the wire or change it occasionally. The most pain is from the tightening of the wire. Each time they change the wire you’ll have a little extra pain for a few days. then it subsides and they change the wire again. The worse part for me was trying to make out with my husband. You have to be carefull when smooching and such because the brackets can cut you or the other person. Also you’ll need to avoid really hard foods like raw carrots and corn on the cob, until you get the braces off. Be ready for those days that they will tighten the braces with soft foods like mashed potatoes or mac & cheese. It seems like the time I had my braces passed pretty quickly and now I am much happier with my smile.

   lots of pain…I had braces for several long, miserable years, and my bottom teeth went right back to being crooked

   i dont know about insurance. but if you need them they will probably work out a payment plan or possibly a loan.
   just tell them your situation, or ask if their is a cheaper alturnative instead of braces.

   um… first of all why do you want braces? but if you really think thay are in style try a different insurance company or just wait until the dough rolls in

   youll be fine… trust me i have braces … no doubt there no great or fun! but in the end if you perservere youll have hollywood teeth! just lay back, relax and think of sumthing nice!

    i have braces right now. so ur insurence will pay for some of it. it depends which insurance u have.
