How Much More Complicated Is It To Get A Monroe Piercing With Braces?

It is slightly complicated. There is always the chance that the backing will get caught in your braces. There is also always the chance of the metal backing scraping your teeth and scratching them. Very unhealthy and can sometimes be painful if it’s close to your gums. You can also scratch your gums! The best thing to do is buy a plastic backing. The plastic backing reduces the chance of the whole “catching on my braces” thing and also the chance of cutting up your gums and gorgeous straight (or almost straight!) teeth!
I have my lip pierced and I have braces. The back of the stud gets caught in the wire sometimes but all you have to do is move your lip and it comes right out and when it does happen, it’s only like a 2 second processs of getting it caught and taking it out. But since the monroe is higher on the top lip, there might be less of a chance of getting the back of the stud caught in the wires.

thers always one problem wit this and braces…sometimes the backing will get ccaught in your braces
i think its gonna poke ur top braces..the top braket
