How Much Does An Orthodontist Assistant Or Intern Make A Year?

I’m researching this for my money management class and I would like to know the following questions:
How much does it pay? Do you think this is enough money for a young adult to live on? Why or why not?

It varies throughout the country, but I can tell you in Wisconsin a Certified Orthodontic Assistant makes anywhere from $ 11- $20 an hour, depending on her location and experience. A higher end assistant could live off of that pretty well, the lower end might be a bit tight. If they are good money managers, they would be fine.
