What sciences could I take in high school to help?

4+1+3 =8 years.
4 under garaduate, 1 year intern & 3 years PG.
To become an orthodontist it takes:
3-4 years of college
4 years dental school
2-3 years orthodontic residency
So, you’re looking at 9-11 years….
Getting good grades is really important…to get into a good college, then to get into dental school, then to get into an orthodontic residency. Biology, chemistry and physics would all be good to take in high school, they’ll help you do well in your college science classes. I’d also recommend calculus and art (especially sculpture). One of the important skills for any orthodontist (or dentist for that matter) is to have talented hand skills. Good luck!
I know i am not a Orthodontist but i do want to become one. I asked my Ortho and he said it depends a lot on what kinds of grades you get. He told me that i would be looking at a good 8 years.
4 undergrad
4 Dental school
2-4 Ortho school
Take as many undergrad courses as you can in high school and you might get done a year early. Look up the gen-ed requirements for your state colleges.
