How Long Does It Take To Get Your Actual Braces Put On, From The First Day You Go To The Orthodontist?

I don’t mean the actual braces process, but the leading up to getting the braces. So lets say I went to the dentist yesterday for the first time about getting braces, how long after that would it take for the final day of getting them put on come?
I’ve been told 6 weeks from my consultation appointment to actually getting them on but the only orthodontist in town is only here for 2 days every 2 weeks
but my appointment is next Tuesday December 8 yay
it’s been 4months since I went to my dentist for a referal
like.. It depends if you need any teeth pulled before you get your braces on, because I know I did. But besides that they need to mold your teeth (they make you bite down into this thing, then it molds your teeth, they need to x-ray your teeth, they need to put spacers in your teeth. (all you feel if pressure, it really doesn’t hurt)
I would say maybe a couple of weeks to maybe even a month.
same day… you might need separators that would add 2-4 days… 90% of the time you can do same day if you had a cleaning in the past few months and had no hygiene problems
um after i had my consultation i made another appt for my ortho records 2 days later and then had them put on 2 weeks later…
It takes two lightyears along with chewbacca
it took me like.. 2 weeks?

Well, I had to get some teeth out so about 4 weeks. But it all depends on how your teeth look to start with.
Mine are in 6 weeks time :3
