How Long After Your First Appointment To The Orthodontist Do You Get Braces?

i went to the ortho once. and they looked at my teeth, took pictures, did x-rays. the lady on the phone said my next appointment would take 15mins and the next next one would take 1hr and a half. any ideas what they willl be doing?
Well, they may be doing molds (or impressions). That’s when they stick a funny goo in your mouth to get an impression of your teeth. The next appointment could be for an expander, or for your braces. You’ll find out at your next appointment. Also, like someone else said, the wisest thing to do would probably be to call the orthodontist. They’re not going to keep it a secret from you. I’m getting spacers and a expander before I get braces, so it will be a few months until I get braces. However, one of my friends got hers at the consultation.
About a month if you need to get any teeth taken out. Because your teeth have to heal. If you don’t need to get any teeth taken out, only about 1 or 2 weeks.
the hour and a half is when you get braces.
Call them and ask silly!

okay so that went well i guess, she took exrays, pictures and it was cool, next week…is the constulation….then braces. problemo is;: they wont give me colours until my third time there, wich stinks. well bye(: have funn
