I go in to get my braces off soon ( almost 5 years!) and I am super super super excited but at the same time unbelievably nervous because I don’t want it to hurt haha. Help?

  1. The orthodontist will take big pliers and break the braces off after he removes the wires. Then they sand down the glue on the front of your teeth. It will hurt a little with the pressure but not too bad.

  2. with an ice pick.

  3. It won’t hurt. 5 yrs Wow! That is a long time!!

  4. They use a device much like pliars. Sounds scary, but it doesn’t hurt. How exciting for you!
