Has The Orthodontist Ever Told You You Needed Braces For A Specific Amount Of Time And Took Them Off Earlier?

Like the orthodontist puts your braces on, tells you you need them for a specific amount of time (example. 2 years, 1 1/2, etc.) and then tooken them off earlier?

well i just got mine yesterday and was told 2 years. it depends though. they are estimating but they dont know how ur mouth will react. it may take less time or it may take more.
Well, I’ve still got mine on, but my brother’s story should cheer you up!
He got mini braces, because he only needed to arrange a few teeth, so the Orthodontist told him about 1 year. He had them on for six.

Nope. Other way around actually. He said 1 yr but it stayed on about seven months longer. I got really pissed about that.. But you should be happy. The less time on, the better (if a good result)
ehhh kind of,i got my braces off last year.i had them on for about 3 or 4 years.
