I had braces when I was younger but after that a gap came back. I don’t want to go back to braces/medal retainer because I am 20 and too old to be wearing stupid braces.

My 12 yr old daughter is scheduled to have her braces put on in @ 2 weeks & I have to decide between having the “forces appliance” or “tads” which is advisable in your opinion & any add’l info please?

I have a deep bite and I know I need braces but how do orthodontist fix deep bites? Can they fix them with elastics? or headgear? btw my jaw still growing

I live in Australia btw.
My teeth are not that crooked, although I have about 2 or 3 that are a bit out of place. I also went to an orthodontist a while back, and he said that I have small mouth/jaw so some of my teeth are clustered together and will need to get 2 removed.
How much do you think the braces will cost?

i know you’re supposed to wear them as much as you can, but what is the minimum? online i’ve read around 20-22 hours is the minimum?

I paid about $2600 this year, and if I’m able to claim it, will it make any difference on my taxes? Basically is it worth putting it on there?
